Day-to-day work includes prioritising assigned tasks, completing duties within expected turnaround times, maintaining complete records, communicating clearly with patients and colleagues and following department-specific protocols for safety and quality.
A strong candidate will understand that hospital quality depends on both technical competence and consistency. Attention to patient identification, consent, medication or procedure safety, infection control, confidentiality and professional communication is expected throughout every shift.
