Consultant General Surgeon

Evaluate elective and emergency general-surgery patients and provide operative and non-operative management within granted privileges. Conduct OPD assessment, perioperative planning, surgery and postoperative review while coordinating with anaesthesia, radiology, gastroenterology and critical care. Maintain strong consent, documentation and surgical-safety practices.

Working from Aminjikarai, Chennai, the doctor will contribute to MGM Healthcare's General Surgery service with an emphasis on continuity of care, safe escalation and respectful counselling for patients and families.

Duty timing: 09:00 AM–05:00 PM, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday OPD. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MS/DNB General Surgery with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 3+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
