Consultant Hepatologist

Provide focused care for chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, portal hypertension and complex hepatology referrals. Assess disease severity, manage complications, review imaging and laboratory trends and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment. Participate in inpatient liver-care pathways and counsel patients on medicines, nutrition, surveillance and follow-up.

Working from Manapakkam, Chennai, the doctor will contribute to MIOT International's Gastroenterology service with an emphasis on continuity of care, safe escalation and respectful counselling for patients and families.

Duty timing: 09:00 AM–04:00 PM with alternate weekend rounds. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MD Medicine with DM Gastroenterology/Hepatology training with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 3+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
