Consultant Neonatologist

Lead care for premature and critically ill newborns in neonatal intensive-care and delivery-room settings. Supervise stabilization, respiratory and nutritional management, infection prevention and family counselling. Coordinate with obstetrics, pediatric surgery and other specialties and contribute to neonatal clinical governance and safety protocols.

This Kochi-based role at Aster Medcity combines direct clinical responsibility in Neonatology with participation in case discussions, clinical governance and department-level quality improvement.

Duty timing: 08:30 AM–05:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MD Pediatrics with DM/DrNB Neonatology or fellowship with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 3+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
