Consultant Ophthalmologist

Provide comprehensive ophthalmic assessment for common and complex eye disorders. Review specialist investigations, plan medical or surgical treatment within credentialed practice and manage postoperative follow-up. Coordinate with optometry and medical specialties for systemic disease affecting vision and support patient education and quality standards.

The successful doctor will strengthen the Ophthalmology team at Meenakshi Mission Hospital, supporting evidence-based decisions, clear documentation and multidisciplinary planning across relevant patient pathways.

Duty timing: 10:00 AM–05:00 PM clinics with procedure/on-call duties as scheduled. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MS/DNB Ophthalmology with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 3+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
