Assess asthma, COPD, pneumonia, pleural disease, sleep-related breathing disorders and unexplained breathlessness. Interpret pulmonary function and imaging findings, coordinate respiratory procedures where credentialed and support acute respiratory care. Provide inhaler and smoking-cessation counselling and collaborate with critical-care teams.
