Consultant Rheumatologist

Assess inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune connective-tissue disease and complex musculoskeletal symptoms. Develop diagnostic and treatment plans, monitor immunomodulatory therapy and coordinate multisystem care with nephrology, pulmonology, dermatology and rehabilitation. Provide long-term education and structured follow-up.

This Kochi-based role at Amrita Hospital Kochi combines direct clinical responsibility in Rheumatology with participation in case discussions, clinical governance and department-level quality improvement.

Duty timing: 09:00 AM–04:00 PM with alternate weekend rounds. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MD Medicine with DM/appropriate Rheumatology training with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 3+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
