Emergency Medicine Specialist

Assess and stabilize undifferentiated emergency patients including trauma, chest pain, respiratory distress, neurological emergencies and acute medical illness. Lead time-sensitive treatment, coordinate resuscitation and specialist referrals and ensure safe admission, transfer or discharge with complete emergency documentation.

The successful doctor will strengthen the Emergency Medicine team at Christian Medical College Vellore, supporting evidence-based decisions, clear documentation and multidisciplinary planning across relevant patient pathways.

Duty timing: 08:30 AM–05:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MD/DNB Emergency Medicine or equivalent with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 2+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
