Senior Resident - General Surgery

Work with the surgical unit in emergency assessment, inpatient rounds, perioperative care and supervised operative practice according to competence. Review investigations, prepare patients for procedures, monitor postoperative recovery and support junior colleagues. Participate in on-call coverage, documentation and surgical audit.

Amrita Hospital Kochi seeks a clinician who can combine sound judgement in General Surgery with reliable teamwork, structured follow-up and active participation in departmental safety and audit processes.

Duty timing: 10:00 AM–05:00 PM clinics with procedure/on-call duties as scheduled. Timings may be adjusted by the hospital for emergencies, procedures, ward rounds or on-call requirements.

Eligibility: MS/DNB General Surgery with valid medical registration as applicable. Expected experience: 1+ years. The salary shown is an indicative recruitment range and must be verified with the recruiting organization before publication or appointment.
