Staff Nurse - Cath Lab

Assist the interventional cardiology team during diagnostic and therapeutic cath-lab procedures. The nurse will prepare patients, verify procedural checklists, support sterile setup, administer prescribed medications, monitor patients before and after procedures, assess vascular access sites and help respond to emergencies. Responsibilities also include stock readiness, documentation and safe transfer to recovery or cardiac care areas. Familiarity with cardiac monitoring, contrast-related precautions and post-angiography nursing is desirable. BLS is required and ACLS exposure is preferred.

This opening at Fortis Hospital Mohali is suited to a nurse who enjoys structured teamwork in Cardiology; the successful candidate will also participate in unit audits, safety checks and bedside education.
