Staff Nurse - Dialysis Unit

Provide nursing support for patients undergoing scheduled and urgent hemodialysis. Responsibilities include pre-dialysis assessment, weight and vital checks, vascular-access observation, machine-side monitoring, medication administration as prescribed, recognition of hypotension or other complications, post-dialysis assessment and patient education. The nurse will follow strict infection-control and blood-borne pathogen precautions and coordinate with nephrologists and dialysis technicians. Previous dialysis-unit experience or formal dialysis training is preferred, along with careful documentation and strong patient communication.

At Christian Medical College, this Nephrology position will work within the Ludhiana clinical team and contribute to safe, patient-centred nursing from admission through handover or discharge.
