Staff Nurse - Gastroenterology

Support patients admitted with gastrointestinal and liver disorders and those undergoing related investigations. The nurse will monitor symptoms, administer medications and IV therapy, maintain fluid-balance records, provide pre- and post-procedure care and reinforce dietary or discharge instructions. Responsibilities may include preparation for endoscopic procedures and observation for bleeding, dehydration or changes in mental status requiring medical review. Strong infection-control practices, patient education and accurate documentation are expected. Prior gastroenterology or medical-ward experience is helpful.
