Staff Nurse - Neurology & Stroke Unit

Provide focused nursing care for patients with stroke, seizures and other neurological conditions. Responsibilities include neurological observations, Glasgow Coma Scale documentation, swallowing and aspiration precautions, medication administration, mobility and pressure-care support, seizure safety and early escalation of changes in consciousness or weakness. The nurse will coordinate with neurologists, rehabilitation teams and families during recovery planning. Familiarity with stroke pathways and time-sensitive neurological assessment is preferred. Accurate handover and compassionate communication are essential.

Based at Phase 8, Mohali, the role combines direct bedside care with coordinated multidisciplinary practice and unit-specific quality standards in Neurology.

Applicants must hold B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid nursing registration as applicable. Expected experience: 2+ years. Salary indicated is an illustrative recruitment range and should be confirmed by the recruiting hospital before publication or appointment.
