Staff Nurse - Operation Theatre

Support elective and emergency surgical lists as an operation-theatre nurse. Duties include preparing the theatre, checking sterile supplies and equipment, assisting with patient positioning, maintaining aseptic technique, completing safety-checklist documentation, performing scrub or circulating responsibilities as assigned and ensuring accurate instrument and swab counts. The nurse will coordinate with surgeons, anaesthesia teams and CSSD for smooth case turnover. Familiarity with infection prevention, surgical consumables and safe transfer to recovery is important. Prior OT exposure is preferred, with willingness to cover rotational and on-call schedules.
