Staff Nurse - Orthopaedics

Care for patients with fractures, joint disorders and those recovering from orthopaedic procedures. Nursing duties include neurovascular observations, pain management, wound and drain care, mobility and fall-safety support, pressure-injury prevention, medication administration and coordination with physiotherapy. The nurse will reinforce postoperative precautions and discharge instructions for patients and caregivers. Experience with traction, casts, splints or joint-replacement pathways is useful. The role requires safe patient handling, clear documentation and effective teamwork across rotating shifts.
