Bradyarrhythmia

Bradyarrhythmia is a cardiovascular term related to cardiac rhythm, vascular anatomy, hemodynamics or an intervention designed to restore circulation.
Clinical effects may include palpitations, fainting, chest discomfort, reduced exercise tolerance, abnormal pulses or impaired blood flow to an organ.
ECG, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, CT angiography, catheter studies or hemodynamic measurements are selected according to the suspected mechanism.
Treatment may involve risk-factor modification, medication, electrical therapy, catheter intervention, vascular repair or cardiac surgery.
Risk associated with bradyarrhythmia is determined by the affected vessel or electrical pathway, degree of compromise and presence of end-organ consequences.
